What Impressions?

This Big Band work is heavy inspired by the well-known classic jazz standards "So What?" and "Impressions", both where John Coltraine made his big furores with.

"What Impressions?" is a feature for baritone saxophone as well, whereby the performer plays non-derived, original (by the composer written) themes, structures and improvises on the harmony, which has to do with the above mentioned jazz pieces.
