“Ingetogen” (Dutch for modesty) is a story about the mother and child, who are musically portrayed by various melodic, harmonic or rhythmic motifs. Also, these characters own tonal centers, known als white or black keys on the keyboard.
Both identities (to be described as fragile, restrained, sometimes playful or dreamy) are alternately portrayed, but the most natural harmony will occur (as in real life) when both together (bitonal) embrace.
